TRAFFIC ALERT: The Rockland Street Bridge will be closed to all traffic on Monday, February 3, 2014 from 9AM-2PM due to construction.
The Rockland Street Bridge will be closed in both directions starting at 9AM on Monday, February 3rd until 2PM. This closure is due to the ongoing natural gas work on the bridge.
Vehicles will have to use the Kingsbury Street Bridge or Route 9 east to Route 16 to access Washington Street during the closure. Wellesley Police Officers will be on the scene to assist with traffic.
This closure will be only for Monday, February 3rd. One lane will be closed daily (from Washington Street across the bridge to Linden/Rockland Street) for the rest of the week. The anticipated hours of that one lane closure will be from 9AM to 3PM.
