Fitness clubs are now giving pizza joints and banks a run for their money in Wellesley in terms of sheer numbers. Another new health-focused business, dubbed Btone, is setting up shop at the former Odd Fellows Building at 89 Central St., in Wellesley Square.
Btone exercise classes provide a mix of strength, cardio, endurance, balance and flexibility training using Megaformer machines and ballet barres. The studio, slated to open in April, lures newcomers with a $5 starter class.
We recently noted that another fitness business called The Bar Method is opening soon on the other side of Central Street over Ardan Spa and Starbucks.
