Scooter, a 3-year old Jack Russell Terrier, has been missing since January 28, but his fur-ever friend, Phil Rigney, hasn’t given up hope of finding him. The adventurous pup dashed across the Charles River at Elm Bank Reservation during a routine walk and hasn’t been seen since. We ran into Scooter’s human friend yesterday at the Recycling and Disposal Facility. Rigney, a Wellesley resident who grew up here, holds out hope that Scooter may have been taken in by kind-hearted dog lovers and it’s only a matter of time before the dots are connected and Scooter is reunited with him.
As Elm Bank neighbors, we were able to tell Rigney that Scooter’s disappearance has been the talk of the neighborhood and many people are looking out for him.
If you see Scooter, call Phil at 508-726-2418.
