Wellesley High School principal Andrew Keough is again a finalist for another job, this time the position of superintendent of Blackstone-Millville Regional School District. He is one of six candidates, with others hailing from Sutton, Oxford, New Bedford, Raynham and Smithfield (R.I.).
According to a Metrowest Daily News report, the school district is looking to make an offer by April 1 so that the new superintendent can start work in July.
Keough has stated in the past he’s looking to accept the new challenge of becoming a superintendent. He has been a finalist before, including last last year in Beverly, but hasn’t gotten the big offer yet.
Earlier last year, Keough came close to getting the superintendent’s job in Hopkinton, but again was not chosen. He has been Wellesley High’s principal since 2007.
