Wellesley invited to support American Heroes Hockey Challenge

Wellesley’s Chris Mayer is organizing an operations meeting at the Community Center on Wednesday, Feb. 19, for a fundraiser for the American Heroes Hockey Challenge. 

The USA Warriors Ice Hockey Program’s teams of wounded military personnel will play at the Tsongas Center in Lowell on April 9, with the sled team taking part in a demonstration game and the standing team taking on a team of Massachusetts-area Olympians. The net proceeds of the event will be shared by the USA Warriors, One Fund Boston and the Travis Roy Foundation.
