The Wellesley Natural Resources Commission is hosting a series of environmental-themed films this year — not quite big name movies like Eric Brockovich, Wall-E or even more recently, Promised Land — but smaller and practical films meant to inspire action by viewers.
The first film, titled Simple Steps to a Greener Home, will be shown Feb. 25 at 1-2:30pm at Wellesley Free Library and features environmental lifestyle expert Danny Seo. This video explores ways to remodel and accentuate you home, including flooring, carpeting, and renewable energy options. It will be followed by a brief discussion by NRC board member Sarah Little, who will offer simple step-by-step green cleaning recipes for your home and a Q&A session.
Future films will include Six Degrees Could Change the World, Our National Parks and Bag It.
