With Wellesley High School principal Andrew Keough this week officially revealing the worst-kept secret in town — that he’s leaving to become superintendent of schools in Easton, Mass., — Wellesley Public Schools has set a goal to find his replacement by May 16.
A meeting will take place at 9am on Monday, April 14, according to the Wellesley PTSO, for parents to share their thoughts with Wellesley superintendent David Lussier on what they’d like to see in principal candidates. No doubt in-house candidates such as assistant principal Jamie Chisum, who has been working on his doctorate in education at BC, will be among the names bandied about.
The PTSO has also been asked to choose three parents to serve on the candidate interview committee.
