Wellesley residents who are running the Boston Marathon — along with those who are volunteering at it or otherwise supporting the race (i.e., fire, police, EMT, fans) — are invited to be part of a photo shoot in front of Wellesley Town Hall on Saturday, April 19 at 8:45am. Those who wish to participate are asked to show up on time, as the organizers want to move people in and out of the space quickly.
Wellesley residents Elaine Marten and Maura Wayman (a photographer) are organizing the photo opp, and the picture/s will be made available via their websites.
Separately, on Marathon Monday, Eric Barry Photography will have a Boston Strong-themed photo booth at 402 Washington St. along the course, where you can get your picture taken for a donation to the One Fund.
Speaking of photos and the Marathon, there will surely be a zillion pictures and videos taken on Monday. But feel free to send us anything really amazing (theswellesleyreport@gmail.com)and we’ll be rounding it all up next week.
