Superintendent David Lussier has notified the community that enrollments for Grade 1 at Hardy, Fiske and Upham have been closed, as have enrollments for Kindergarten at Hardy, for the 2014-2015 school year.
Lussier explained that the moves adhere to a new policy designed to avoid overcrowding at schools and within classrooms.
He stressed, however, that “these closures will not affect any family already registered and assigned to these schools. These closures will only affect families seeking to register at those schools and grade levels as of May 6 or later. The Administration will work closely with any new families regarding the registration and assignment of their children.”
