Wasik’s Cheese Shop in Wellesley Square is next in line to go for a license to sell beer/wine for off-premises consumption. The Cheese Shop has already filed an application and will go before the Board of Selectmen on Monday, May 12 in an effort to get its license approved, as Fells Market did this past Monday. Both businesses are represented by attorney David Himmelberger.
Wasik’s officials in the past have discussed a desire to be able to lend their expertise to customers looking for good wine & cheese combos — and to sell them the whole shebang.
Roche Bros., and Tuttu Italiano have also filed applications, and a preliminary application has been filled out by Bee’s Knees, a business planning to set up shop at the old Wellesley Inn site.
