Milestone Restaurant, which opened in Wellesley Square back in 2009, has closed its doors and the team behind the new Juniper restaurant has begun transitioning the space.
Juniper is a sister restaurant of Sweet Basil, the popular Needham restaurant. Members of the Juniper team told us that the new restaurant will open within the next couple of months.
The Globe reported recently to “expect new twists on Greek, Lebanese, Israeli, and eastern Mediterranean food, with his own special cubed cous cous recipe.”
Wellesley’s restaurant scene continues to heat up, with tapas restaurant Bocado on the way this summer.
