Solstice race starts summer for real in Wellesley

25 runners — most from Wellesley and including 1 dog — kicked off summer at 6:51 am Saturday for the 3rd Annual Elm Bank Summer Solstice Race.

The craziest among those who took part in the word-of-mouth event jumped into the Charles River afterwards.
