Ex-Wellesley baseball star Freiman goes really deep for A’s

We try not to overdo it on the updates about former Wellesley Little League and Wellesley High School baseball star Nate Freiman, but Sunday night the Oakland A’s player hit a 459-foot homer on the nationally televised game of the week. (Then he hit another home run, for his first multi-homer game in the majors.)

If we mapped that first one correctly, that’s about the distance from the Wellesley Square fire station to Wellesley books.
