Wellesley Media Corporation will add two new classes to its digital media production class offerings in Jackie’s Room at the Wellesley Library beginning in September.
Digital video editing using Final Cut Pro X will be a three-part class offered from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on three consecutive Mondays, Sept 15, 22, & 29. Instructor will be Wellesley Media community producer Kevin Wetmore. Students are encouraged to attend all three classes to gain a comprehensive understanding of the program.
Composing music using Garage Band will be a two-part class offered from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on two consecutive Tuesdays, Sept 16 & 23. Students can bring a MIDI keyboard to the first class if they have one. The first class will focus on software instruments and loops and the second class will focus on recording using real instruments. Instructor will be Wellesley Media executive director James Joyce.
Wellesley Media will continue to teach digital editing using iMovie for both Macbook Pro and iPad as well as a class on how to shoot great video on your mobile device.
