Wellesley Symphony Orchestra: Strings wanted

August 24, 2014 by admin Leave a Comment

Wellesley Symphony OrchestraFrom The Wellesley Symphony Orchestra:

The Wellesley Symphony begins it’s 66th concert season with rehearsals on September 3 at MassBay Community College in Wellesley Hills.  If you’re an experienced string player we hope you’ll consider playing with a great group of music makers.  Information about our 2014-15 season is at www.wellesleysymphony.org.  Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings at 7:15, please feel free to check us out!

This season includes music of Beethoven, Dvorák, Brahms, Copland and much more through our 6 concerts, including our Family Concert collaboration with the Wellesley public schools in February and Holiday concert in December. The WSO comprises musicians from dozens of cities and towns from all around.  We are based in Wellesley at MassBay Community College on Oakland Street.

We hope to see lots of swellesleyers at our concerts this season — please see www.wellesleysymphony.org for concert and ticket information.  Anyone can join our emailing list via wellesleysymphony.org as well.  Email info@wellesleysymphony.org with your name and address to get on our postcard mailing list.

Please email us at info@wellesleysymphony.org for further information or contact our Music Director (and Wellesley resident!)  Max Hobart at 781 263-1933
