Bobby Orr, the greatest Boston Bruins hockey player of all, will take a shot at selling a bunch of books next month in Wellesley.
The Hall of Fame defenseman is promoting “Orr: My Story,” (roughly $28) at 7pm on Oct. 9 at Wellesley Books.
Note that there are a few rules to help keep things from getting unruly: No memorabilia will be signed or allowed in the store; Orr will sign his new book, but won’t personalize the signings; No posed photographs, though you can take candid photos of Orr signing books.
Maybe if you’re all nice to him he’ll come back and do a little skating at the Wellesley outdoor rinks this coming winter.
