Two thousand runners and walkers took to the streets of Wellesley on Thanksgiving morning to complete the 5K Turkey Trot that started and ended in Linden Square. The course traversed Wellesley Square and Wellesley College as well.
Boston’s Adrian Macdonald won the race in a time of 16:08, just ahead of recent Wellesley High grad Ben Griswold. Wellesley’s Priyanka Fouda was the fastest women with a time of 18:26. (Race results here.)
Congrats to Carol Chaoui, the Fund for Wellesley, Wellesley Police Department and the many volunteers who organized this well-run and fun event.
Take that, snow!
