The Wellesley Historical Society is partnering with the Wellesley Community Center to offer a new series of children’s programs called “Winter Wednesdays” beginning in December.

The programs are geared toward children aged five to ten and will take place from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Wellesley Community Center, 219 Washington Street, every Wednesday from December 10 to March 4 (with the exceptions of December 24, December 31, and February 18).

Each program will feature a different historical topic and offer hands-on, educational games and activities. These are drop-in programs, so families can attend as their schedules allow.

“Winter Wednesdays” is sponsored in part by the Wellesley Cultural Council and is free and open to the public.

For more information, call the Wellesley Historical Society at (781) 235-6690 or email the director at director@wellesleyhistoricalsociety.org. For a complete schedule of programs, visit the Historical Society’s website at www.wellesleyhistoricalsociety.org.
