The Boston Globe has reported that several Wellesley residents, including former candidate for State Treasurer Mike Heffernan, will serve on Governor-elect Charlie Baker’s advisory transition committee. The Wellesley contingent will join over 160 others in advising Baker on matters of jobs and the economy, schools, community, health, and better government.
The Wellesley-ites called to serve are:

Brian Kavoogian, Charles River Realty Investors, Jobs and the Economy Committee
Lorraine Levine, Women’s Lunch Place, Community Committee
John Sivolella, Columbia University, Better Government Committee
What’s more, Baker has tapped Wellesley attorney Lon Povich to be his chief legal counsel.
