I’ve officially had more calls and emails this week from Wellesley Public Schools superintendent David Lussier than from anyone in my family. Our cellphones and landlines just performed a beautiful robo-call ringtone symphony, so it must be official: School is on for Thursday.
Dear WPS Community,
After digging out from the two feet of snow we received in Wellesley, we are planning for an on-time start of school tomorrow (January 29th.) Please be advised that some roads may still have a snow coating and that some sidewalks may not be cleared by tomorrow morning. It’s a good idea to leave yourself some extra time to get to school and carpooling is recommended to moderate some of the congestion we are anticipating. Snow banks and drifts remain very high throughout town, so please remind any students walking to take extra care when crossing streets.
Best regards,
Dr. David Lussier
