Wellesley winners of Scholastic Art & Writing Awards announced

logoThe prestigious annual Scholastic Art & Writing Awards  has recognized the achievements of dozens of Wellesley Middle School, Wellesley High School, and Dana Hall students. The awards program, established in 1923, runs in partnership with The School of the Museum of Fine Arts (SMFA) and the Boston Globe and gives out awards in categories such as photography, jewelry, drawing, short stories, critical essays, and poetry.

An award ceremony for the top prize winners of the Gold and Silver Keys will be held at the Museum of Fine Arts on March 7. From there, Gold Key work will be exhibited at the 808 Gallery at Boston University, March 7 – 15, 10am – 6pm.

Gold Key winners will be eligible for national awards to be determined later in the year.
