St. Patty’s Day blood drive at Wellesley High

The Wellesley High School National Honor Society is sponsoring a Red Cross Blood Drive at the high school gym on March 17 from 8:30am-1:30pm.

Drop-ins are welcome, but people are highly encouraged to make an appointment in order to avoid increasing wait times by going to http://www.redcrossblood.org/ and typing in Sponsor Code 961 to find the drive and sign up for a time. The process of donating blood takes about an hour, which includes the physical and the recovery time. People 17 and older can donate; if you’re 16 you need to get signed parental consent.
