After a two-year hiatus, the Wellesley Hills Congregational Church (a.k.a the Hills Church, located at 207 Washington Street) will again open it’s doors to bargain-hunters and treasure-seekers alike on Saturday, May 2 from 8a-Noon.Departments include: sporting goods, fine treasures, linens, toys, housewares, men’s, women’s and children’s apparel.
The Hills Church Rummage Sale, organized by the Women’s Ministry, donates 100% of the proceeds to local, national and international charities with an emphasis on the needs of women and children. Admission is $1 at the door.
That same day St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church on Denton Road in Wellesley is having its annual Bargain Haul, kicking off at 8:30am and going past noon.
In a similar vein, the Friends of Wellesley Free Libraries are having their annual Spring Book Sale that same weekend, tarting on Thursday April 30 for members at the main library.
