Singer-songwriter Marc Berger, along with guitar wizard Rich DePaolo, are on their way to the Wellesley Library on Sunday, April 19, 2pm – 3pm, to sing from Berger’s current album, Ride, a collection of songs about the romance of the American West.
Berger signed his first publishing contract in his spare time while in law school, a happy turn of events that allowed him to avoid practicing law altogether by performing in New York city clubs like CBGB, Wetlands, and The Knitting Factory, all places that sound way cooler than our humble library. But the singer-songwriter life is a nomadic one, and the good people of New England could stand to hear about the Montana skies, or a twister that will swallow you up (metaphorically, if I was reading the lyrics right).
Ride has gotten national airplay, and Starbucks has licensed it for worldwide in-store airplay.
