Wellesley’s A Better Chance program says that tickets for its pirate-themed Gala Fundraiser are still available, but an RSVP by May 5 would be appropriate under the pirate’s code.
To that end, ABC invites you to attend their yearly Gala, which includes dinner, drinks, and dancing, all with an island-casual dress code (eye patch optional). In addition, Vanessa Martir, ABC alumnae and Wellesley High School Class of 1993 graduate will be on hand to deliver opening remarks.
The mission of the Wellesley ABC program is to provide academically talented and promising young women of color from underserved communities through enrollment at Wellesley High School and participation in a residential program. Wellesley ABC is committed to fostering the achievement of each student’s academic, personal and community-oriented goals through year-round support.
And wouldn’t it be nice to score two tickets to a Saturday Night Live dress rehearsal while offering such support? These are apparently coveted and crazy hard to come by, but ABC has its sources, and the tickets will be auctioned off at the gala.
Order tickets here for the gala.
