Wellesley High School’s Don’t Forget To Be Awesome Club is holding a handful of fundraising events this week to raise money for the charity Kiva.org, a non-profit micro-funding outfit designed to help entrepreneurs around the world.

The club, which is in its first year of existence and consists of about 10 students, is an affiliate of YouTube favorites the Vlogbrothers and works to spark topical conversation and support charity projects, according to co-president Nadine Richardson.

Fundraising events this Friday at Wellesley High (for the WHS community) will include a four-square tournament, a raffle and a craft sale.

Down the road, the club plans to organize town-wide events.
