The Wellesley Historical Society says that tickets remain though are selling fast for its Spring Celebration dinner and auction at Wellesley Country Club on May 15. The event will honor Captain Keith Marden and the Marden family.
The event includes drinks, dinner, a video honoring the Mardens, music by Joe Pulsifer, a historical display, and two jam-packed auctions that will feature excellent Red Sox tickets (field box seats between home plate and first base), autographed Tom Brady and Dustin Pedroia jerseys, a private tour of Old North Church including a trip into the fabled steeple where the lanterns were lit, a fire engine at your private party or event, a deluxe stay at Boston’s Liberty Hotel (the old Charles Street jail) including dinner, and much more. Veteran sports anchorman Mike Dowling will be the auctioneer.
