Wellesley’s Wonderful Weekend honorees revealed

The Wellesley’s Wonderful Weekend committee has shared its list of honorees for the May 15-17 festivities, which culminate with the 47th annual Wellesley Veterans’ Parade and fireworks on May 17.

Parade Grand Marshals Vietnam Era Veterans – In recognition of anyone who served on active duty for more than 180 days in the Republic of Vietnam, between February 28, 1961 and May 7, 1975 OR served on active duty for more than 180 days for any time between August 5, 1964 and May 7, 1975.
Distinguished Service Award Janice M. Kaseta – In recognition of 29 years service at the Wellesley Recreation Department, including the last 13 years as Director.
Chief of Staff Philip R. Rolph —In recognition of service as a Major in U. S. Marine Corps, Vietnam Era Veteran, and as a community activist.
Community Service Award Terri J. Tsagaris–  In recognition of two terms of service on the Board of Selectmen and 15 years as a Town Meeting Member.
Community Service Award K.C. Kato– In recognition of 2 terms of service on the School Committee and as a Town Meeting Member.  
Community Service Award Tere Ramos  –In recognition of 1 term of service on the School Committee.
Community Service Award Amanda Fischman Henshon –In recognition of 3 terms of service as a Library Trustee.
Community Service Award Jessica Wolfe–In recognition of 1 term of service as a Library Trustee.  
Community Service Award James Conlin–In recognition of 4 terms of service on the Recreation Commission, one term as Library Trustee, and 26 years as a Town Meeting Member.
Community Service Award Neal B. Glick–In recognition of 5 years service on the Planning Board and service on the Wetlands Protection Committee.
Special Appreciation Award Wellesley Department of Public Works–In recognition of the DPW’s “Snow Busting” prowess during the historic winter of 2015.
Special Appreciation Award Wellesley Municipal Light Plant-In recognition of the MLP’s outstanding service during the historic winter of 2015.
Special Appreciation Award Grignaffini & Sons, Inc., C. Joseph Grignaffini –In recognition of their 55th Anniversary and three generations in the construction business.
Special Appreciation Award Reynolds Electrical Co.,  Raymond J. Reynolds– In recognition of 77 years in business and three generations in the electrical business.
Special Appreciation Award St. John the Evangelist Parish –In recognition of the 125th Anniversary of the founding of the parish.
Special Appreciation Award Wellesley Hills Woman’s Club–In recognition of 125th Anniversary of providing service to the Community.
Dedicated Service Award Barbara Ardine -In recognition of 40 years service as a Wellesley Crossing Guard.
Dedicated Service Award Marie Schofield –In recognition of 40 years service as a Wellesley Crossing Guard.
