Bookending Wellesley High’s graduation ceremony on Friday, the school’s Drama Society closes its season with William Shakespeare’s “The Comedy of Errors,” on Thursday, June 4 and Saturday, June 6. One of Shakespeare’s earliest works, this play is known for its slapstick humor and witty dialogue but also has a deeper message, presenting themes of alienation and the search for identity.
Thirty-two Wellesley High School students make up the cast and 10 are on the tech crew.
Show times are Thursday, June 4 at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, June 6 at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The play will be performed in the school’s Little Theater at 50 Rice St.
Tickets are available 45 minutes prior to the show and seating is limited. $15 Adults, $10 students and seniors. Cash or checks made out to “Wellesley Public Schools”
To access the WHS Little Theater, please use the Performing Arts wing entrance, which is located to the left of the main doors and flagpoles.
