Hundreds of people, from youngsters to parents to ex-teammates at Wellesley High and Penn State University, turned out on Sunday at Sprague Field to pay tribute to Connor Darcey, who died over the weekend in a North End car accident. Darcey was a start lacrosse goalie for Wellesley High and just finished his sophomore season at Penn State, where he was the starting goalie.
His parents addressed those who attended the event, and his younger brother Teddy played in goal during the pick-up game.
