Three local teens who have studied drama, voice and dance are combining their talents to offer the new Magic Dragon Theatre Workshop to young students this summer – for free.
Melinda Kalanzis (Wayland High School) came up with the idea as a way to reach young students who hadn’t had an opportunity to get involved in theatre, and her friends Morgan Ettinger (soon to attend Wellesley High School) and Jenna Howard Delman (Walnut Hill School for the Arts) embraced the plan.
Their workshop will take place at the Christa McAuliffe Charter School in Framingham on Aug. 17-21 from 9-11:15am. It is open to 6th graders from any metrowest school, and if they have siblings in either the 4th or 5th grade, they are also welcome to register. Registration is open now.
