Wellesley rockers No Left Turn are off to a hot start this summer, having played at the Warped Tour music festival in Pomona, Calif., in June (Street Cred Note: I attended the 1996 Warped Tour and rubbed elbows with the skateboard crowd in Northampton, Mass.) and then at the Middle East club in Cambridge on Sunday.
The band, whose members are all in their late teens or early 20s, consists of brothers Matt (drums) and Tommy (guitar, vocals) DeAngelis, Billy Behman (bass), Andrew Segall (guitar) and Carter Sanders (keyboard, vocals). They play original songs, plus cover material from bands such as the Doors, Jet and Third Eye Blind.
We posted a few years back about the band appearing in a Lifetime TV movie called “Sexting in Suburbia.”
Sorry we didn’t give you a heads-up on the weekend show, but you can follow the No Left Turn Facebook page to learn about upcoming appearances.
