A Wellesley resident promoting the Boston 2024 Olympics bid was handing out these rubber bracelets at the recent July Jubilation event in Wellesley Square. She told me that Wellesley was not under consideration for any of the event venues. Now, of course, other local communities are out of the picture, too.
