The Boston Globe reports on the state’s dual-enrollment program, through which high school students can also take classes at community college or state university campuses, often at little or no cost. What’s more, they walk away with high school and college credits.
2015 WHS grad Matt Jablonski, now at the University of Washington, took advantage of the program, as detailed in the story. (Swellesley readers might recall that Jablonski is no stranger to multitasking: He served as a Town Meeting member while at Wellesley High as well.)
Speaking of the college, parents are invited to attend a session on the college process at Wellesley High School on Thursday Sept 24 at 7pm.
