A heartbroken family that has tried everything to keep their beloved cats has recently had to face facts and move toward re-homing these two beauties. A serious allergic/asthmatic reaction in a family member, despite years of comprehensive treatment, makes it necessary to find a loving home for these cherished companions.
Unfortunately, Wellesley’s Stray Pets in Need (SPIN) is jammed up right now with cats ages 8-12, and so was unable to take in Aimee and Sasha. Currently these affectionate 8-year-old girls, who were adopted from the SPIN system in 2007, are boarding at Chez Mieux in Natick as they await their next loving family.
Aimee is a curious cat who loves to have fun and be active. She will be your shadow and follow along room to room. Aimee gets along with anyone, but is slow to warm. Once tuned in she turns on the action. She has great eye-paw coordination and will wow you with her amazing ball tracker skills. Not one who loves to be picked up and cuddled, she instead prefers to nudge your arm and, if you’re lucky, cuddle Aimee- style.
Sasha has a calm, quiet nature and loves to find cozy places to settle down. An indoor cat, Sasha enjoys bird and squirrel watching from the window. Sensitive and intuitive, Sasha will respond well to a kind and loving approach. She seeks out companionship and finds comfort in being brushed and having her head petted (when in the mood), and loves food but must be fed in small portions. She’s a real gem, and her eyes really are as green as the picture.
Both cats have been lovingly cared for, spayed, and treated routinely at the Cat’s Hospital, Wellesley. They are up-to-date on all shots and annual care. PLEASE CALL 781-239-1027
