With a new year of school comes a new year of community service at Wellesley High School. The Key Club welcomed both new and returning members with a kickoff meeting on Thursday that gathered roughly 175 students ranging from 14 to 18 years of age. Over the course of the year, Key Club aims to help these students foster a connection to the broader Wellesley community and to develop a service-orientated attitude by providing the students with volunteer opportunities. Key Club’s past service to organizations includes projects with groups as varied as the Rotary Club, the Council on Aging, Project Bread, Wellesley Friendly Aid, the Wellesley Community Center, and more.
Any community service organization can request Key Club volunteers for event or project help by emailing keyclubwellesley@gmail.com as far in advance of said service opportunity as possible. We look forward to hearing from you!
