Ticket info revealed for Wellesley High Thanksgiving football at Fenway

October 1, 2015 by Bob Brown 1 Comment

While the buzz about Wellesley High School’s football team playing vs. traditional rival Needham High on Thanksgiving morning has been building since August, the question we’ve most been asked is: How can I get tickets and how much will they cost? Here are your answers.

Wellesley takes its 60-59-9 record vs. Needham, in the oldest public high school football rivalry, into Fenway Park on Nov. 26 at 9am.

Tickets are $20 apiece, with $5 of every ticket sold being given back to the school each patron is supporting. What’s more, the $20 covers both games of the doubleheader that day, which in this case means English High School vs. Boston Latin School at noon, too. Tickets go on sale Oct. 8 at noon.

(On Wednesday Nov. 25, Xaverian Brothers faces off vs. St. John’s Prep at 4pm, followed by BC High vs. Catholic Memorial at 7pm.

Check out photos from Fenway of Wellesley players and coaches from the official press briefing held on Thursday.
