Wellesley will celebrate completion of the first phase of the Fuller Brook Park Preservation Project by inviting residents to stroll through the park along the Brook Path (between Paine Street and Maugus Avenue) and learn more about the project on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 11am-12:30pm.
The park now features two bio-retention rain gardens, new plantings, a redesigned stream course, and a path that’s both handicapped accessible and easy to maintain with beautiful new boardwalk sections. Overall, the 100-plus-year-old park stretches 2-and-a-half miles.
Residents of all ages are encouraged to attend; strollers and dogs are welcome. Walkers should park in the northeast corner of the Wellesley High School parking lot and enter the Brook Path area at Paine Street.
