From Wellesley Historical Society:
Given that the forecast is for frost Monday morning 10/19 and that lunch would be served outside with temperatures in the 40s, the Wellesley Historical Society Golf Tournament has been rescheduled for Monday morning, October 26. The forecast for that day is in the mid-60s.
Given the generally cold fall mornings, breakfast will be at 8:30 and the shotgun start at 9:00. This will require faster-than-usual play, but most courses can be played in four hours and Nehoiden is no exception. Lunch will still be at 1:00 p.m., so we will be out at the same time. The course opens to members at 1:00 p.m.
If you wanted to play on 10/19 but couldn’t, you’ve just had a reprieve. It’s $50 for golf, breakfast, lunch and prizes.
