Ideas to blast off Thursday at Babson Rocket Pitch

Babson College on Thursday afternoon is hosting its annual Rocket Pitch event for entrepreneurial students and alums from Babson, as well as students from Olin College and Wellesley College. They will give 3-minute pitches to try to sell their ideas to an audience of students, faculty, investors, entrepreneurs and others. Attendees to yap with presenters at a networking reception at the end of the event.

Boston-based InnerCity Weightlifting​, IdeaPaint, BigBelly Solar, and Gemvara are among businesses that have come through Rocket Pitch over its 16-year history. This year’s edition features more than 100 entrepreneurs.

It’s free and open to the public to attend, and runs from 1-5:30pm on Nov. 5 at Babson’s Olin Hall.
