Chris Tierney, the Wellesley native who is now the longest-tenured player on the New England Revolution, will now be with the soccer team for a good while longer after signing a multiyear deal this week. The 2015 Major League Soccer All-Star has appeared in more than 200 games for the Revs.
Tierney, who played high school soccer at Noble and Greenough School and college soccer at the University of Virginia, debuted with the Revs in 2008. He has made appearances in town to support Wellesley youth soccer in recent years.
For whatever reason, MLS teams don’t release details of player contracts.
