The Wellesley Town Band will perform a 1-hour winter concert free at the Wellesley Community Center on Sunday, Dec. 20 at 3pm. Refreshments will follow.
Look forward to the music of Richard Rogers, Glenn Miller and Percy Grainger, plus the music of the season. what you can expect to hear on Sunday, of course along with music of the season.
Organized in 2013, the band features 30 musicians ranging in age from 14 to 80, playing instruments from the piccolo to the tuba. Middle School band director Henry Platt conducts.
