Wellesley residents living close to Rte. 95 South are celebrating the Mass Department of Transportation’s plan to build a sound barrier next year.
Those same residents were lamenting last month on their site that Mass DOT seemed to have forgotten about them in light of other priorities, such as adding lanes and shoulders to the highway. But that post has been deleted, so it appears that the latest word from Mass DOT is what those neighbors had been looking forward to hearing. The sound barrier plan has been cooking for years.
