Muna Gifts, the Wellesley Square gift shop opened around the start of 2014 by the owners of Cafe Mangal, is closing.
The shop originally was located next to the restaurant, but moved to the opposite side of the road at 550 Washington St.
The Ozargun family, via Muna, saved shoppers the trouble of traveling to Turkey by selecting handmade doodads during trips to their native country and making them available in Wellesley. The store’s inventory includes pottery, silk scarves, jewelry, pillows and assorted household accessories.
Wellesley seems to be going through another of those business property churn cycles, with other vacancies resulting across town from the closures of such business as La Riviera and Citi Sports.
