From Dana Hall School:
In collaboration with Beaver Country Day School in Chestnut Hill, the Dana Hall Art Gallery presents Creative Colleagues, running February 8 through March 4. An opening reception will be held Tuesday, February 9, from 5–7:30 p.m.
Creative Colleagues: Work from the Art Faculty of Beaver Country Day School features painting and fiber art by Rebecca Roberts, head of the BCDS Art Department; mixed media drawings and ceramic sculpture by Emily Farbman; photographic self-portraits by Sejal Patel; and an interactive sculptural installation by David Ingenthron.
This exhibit is part of an ongoing program to connect with different schools. Last year, Dana Hall featured a show of work by students from the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Located in the Classroom Building, the Dana Art Gallery is open to the public Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The gallery is closed weekends and school holidays.
