We were lucky enough to get a sneak preview of the goods, precisely organized and tended by the Friends of the Wellesley Free Libraries volunteers. All money raised fund adult and children’s library programs, the annual Arnold Lecture, museum passes, maintenance of the fish tank, and support library staff enrichment.
Members’ preview night: Thursday, Feb. 4, 5 – 9pm
Public sale: Friday, Feb. 5, 9am – 6pm and Saturday, Feb. 6, 9am – 5pm
$7 Bag Sale: Sunday, Feb. 7, 1pm – 5pm

The book sale offers some of the better bargains you’re ever going to get in Wellesley, and all are welcome to shop of course. If that’s still too rich for your blood, there’s always the book swap section of the Recycling and Disposal Facility, where all the books are as free as the air, sort of. There’s just one catch — you’ve got to be a Wellesley resident to shop those stacks.
