Don’t worry, Wellesley isn’t actually going to have any fewer than a dozen places to get pizza in town, but one longtime business — Wellesley Hills House of Pizza — is being replaced by Cook’s Window Pizza II at 19 Washington St.
Cook’s Window has another location in Methuen, and its menu includes “not just pizza, but salads, wraps, calzones, pasta, and more!” The business boasts of “affordable prices,” including $6 for a 12-inch cheese pizza and $9.25 for a 16-incher. We’ll have to see whether the Wellesley Tax applies to its menu here.
Among the excitement at Wellesley Hills House of Pizza over the years: A car crashed through its front window in 2010.
The Wellesley Hills House of Pizza Extra Special Was my favorite all time pizza.
I hope they got the salad dressing recipe from the previous owner!
I can’t believe it’s gone! My children had their number listed on our emergency number list forever.
