It’s still not clear when the much anticipated Caffe Nero coffee-and-more shop that’s moving into the Wellesley Hills railroad station depot will open for business, but here’s a quick update.
The Caffe Nero team, which originally was hoping to open up shop as early as this spring, met with the Board of Selectmen this week regarding its common victualler license and already has approval from the Design Review Board and support from the Wellesley Historic Commission. From there, the cafe operators would look to move forward with Wellesley Building and Health Departments, according to Jay Gentile, Director, USA, for Caffe Nero.
