The Commonwealth Shakespeare Company’s staged reading of Death and the Maiden will take place as scheduled on Monday, April 25 at Babson’s Sorenson Center for the Arts at 8pm, but the theatre company has announced that actor Pedro Pascal has had to bow out. Pascal, known for his roles in HBO’s Game of Thrones and Netflix’s Narcos, unfortunately has a scheduling conflict now, as he mentions in this video message.
Pascal is being replaced by an accomplished local actor named Nael Nacer, who will be joined on stage by Chilean actress Cote de Pablo, best known for her role on CBS’s NCIS, and NYC’s Joel Perez, currently appearing on Broadway in the Tony award-winning production of Fun Home.
All of the free general admission tickets have been reserved for the performance, but you can join the waitlist if interested, or can buy a ticket for the post-show reception, which will guarantee you entrance to the performance as well. Those who have tickets and can no longer attend are asked to send notice to firstname.lastname@example.org so that the tickets can be freed up.
