This from the Wellesley Public Schools:
Dear WMS Parents and Guardians,
I am writing to communicate the loss of one of our track coaches, Ron Brace, who passed away this past weekend. Ron joined our team this year and has been coaching since March. Prior to joining us, Ron played football at BC and for the Patriots. He was well liked by all he came in contact with at our school. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. He will be missed by all.
Today, school administration, and our guidance and athletic departments will be meeting with the track team prior to practice. If any student needs additional support, our counselors will be available throughout the day and after the meeting. Additionally, extra coaches/adults will be available for the team during this time of transition. Please know that we are here for you and your children, and are available to be contacted, should you need it.
